Quick update. Praise God Kelly is still feeling well. He is a bit tired but doesn't feel sick at all!!! The doctor said that he is doing better then expected so far. He begins a different chemo on Monday and it will be an every other day thing for about two weeks. Please continue to pray that he will be kept from infection and that he will be able to tolerate the new chemo well. Please also thank God with us for His extravagant love and for how He demonstrates His love to us through His church! We love and appreciate you all and your notes of encouragement. Love, Kelly and Gabriela

Hi you guys,

As I sit here reading your blog, my favorite song keeps running thru my head. You may already be familiar with it, by Third Day -"Tunnel". It goes like this:

"I won't pretend to know what you're thinking
I can't begin to know what you're going through
I won't deny the pain that you're feeling
But I'm gonna try and give a little hope to you

Just remember what I've told you
There's so much you're living for

There's a light at the end of this tunnel
There's a light at the end of this tunnel
For you, for you
There's a light at the end of this tunnel
Shinin' bright at the end of this tunnel
For you, for you
So keep holdin' on

You've got your disappointments and sorrows
You ought to share the weight of that load with me
Then you will find that the light of tomorrow
Brings a new life for your eyes to see

So remember what I've told you
There's so much you're living for"

Hope this helps you focus on the hope from our Lord, like it does for me. Our prayers are with you.

Kelly and Gabriela-

We are still praying with you in this.

Psalm 62:5-8
5 Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him.

6 He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.

7 My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge.

8 Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.
