Thursday June 21, 2007 Summer Solstice:

Tomorrow Kelly will be receiving his third Chemotherapy treatment. He has had low blood counts and may also need a blood transfusion. He has felt worn-out and is trying to keep pace with the life as best as possible.
Thank you for your friendship, support, concern, and prayers.

In His embrace

Kelly, Gabriella, & family,

Remember me? I just heard about your diagnosis the other day when I was in CDA for a visit. I am sorry for the trial you are facing as a family. I know, though, that everything faced in this life is meant to draw us into greater intimacy with Jesus. I pray this is true in your lives and for your healing, as well. I am married now...since August 12, 06. :) My husbands name is Lee & we live in Seattle. Crank up the gospel music, Kelly - I know you love it!
love, Brianna (Gariss) Abbott

Dear Kelly and family, I am praying for your treatment today and for your blood work. I pray that if you need a transfusion, that it will give you a reprieve from the tired feeling. Keep the faith, God is not done with you yet. You are an inspiration and a testimony to me. Love in Christ Barb

Kelly & Gabriela,
I was shocked to hear of your challenge along this journey called life! I hope to keep updated with this way of communication. My cousin was in a horrible car wreck in Feb and they have used CaringBridge as a form of communication......what a blessing. Please know I love you guys and will be praying for you. May our Lord Jesus be exalted thru your lives as you rest and trust Him solely for each step of this journey.

Dear Kelly and Gabriela,

I have been praying for you since Gordon and Cindy told me about your illness. It took me awhile to figure out how to leave a comment wihthout being a Google member. Sorry for the delay. :-) I am not a computer nerd. :-)

I check your site daily and am praying for your specific requests. Isn't it wonderful to see how the Lord brings people into your life to meet needs before you even know you need them? :-)I am praying for added strength, effectiveness of the chemo and a real sense of God's love and support for all of you.

Gabriela, I know that being a support to Kelly and also meeting the needs of your kids and maintaing a sense of security and noramlcy can take a toll. I am praying that the Lord gives you extra strength and peace as well!!

Love you both!

Paula

Kelly,
I hope this note finds you feeling better after today's treatment. I have always thought of you as a strong man and a man of God. Now the test continues. Thank you for the amazing strength that you are modeling for others. We pray that you are lifted in the assurance that your New Harvest family has you covered in prayer. We will pray without ceasing...God bless you, Gabriela, and the kids.
